Wendy Pops Back Up Amid Guardianship Drama
Wendy Williams is stepping back into the spotlight!
The 62-year-old former talk show host made a rare NYC appearance Wednesday night, smiling as she walked arm-in-arm with a male companion before grabbing dinner at Carnegie Diner in Times Square.
Williams looked glam in a colorful blue-and-gold jacket, white shorts, bright red lipstick and a black Hermès Birkin.
The outing comes as she continues fighting to end the court-appointed guardianship she’s been under since 2022. Her attorney, Joe Tacopina, has maintained that she should no longer remain under the arrangement.
For now, Williams is still fighting for her freedom – but she’s clearly not staying home waiting for the drama to settle.
Rick Ross Arrested on Strangulation, Battery Charges
Rick Ross is in some serious legal hot water.
The 50-year-old rapper was arrested in Florida after ex-girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick accused him of a violent attack. Ross, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, faces battery and battery-by-strangulation charges after turning himself in.
Kendrick shared photos of her bruised lip and alleged Ross slapped her, struck her chest, choked her and slammed her against a wall during an August 28 argument.
She wrote, “If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don’t give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave.”
Ross denies the allegations. His attorneys said he “is being wrongfully accused by an ex-girlfriend whose true motivations are unclear.”
He’s pleaded not guilty – and the drama is just getting started.
