Tom Reveals a Stunt So Risky It Nearly Rewrote His Career — and His Spine
Tom Cruise is still the king of death-defying stunts, but the 63-year-old admitted his latest Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning stunt nearly left him broken… for good.
Hanging from a biplane, Tom confessed, “Oh, this almost broke my back,” while director Christopher McQuarrie added, “You’re talking about a lot of pain here.” Battling brutal weather in Africa, Tom called the punishing stunt “brutal” and admitted his swollen hands and slamming against the plane were “so painful to watch.”
Even when the plane engine stopped, Tom improvised mid-air, saying, “That was a hard one.” Still, he called it “really fun,” proving once again he’ll risk it all for the real shot.
As Tom put it best about his past injuries: “Some of these injuries, what’s the point? You just keep going.”
SJP Responds to Hate-watching Comments… but Not How You’d Expect
Sarah Jessica Parker’s definitely not losing sleep over And Just Like That being labeled a hate-watch.
"I don't think I have the constitution to have spent a lot of time thinking about that," she said. "We always worked incredibly hard to tell stories that were interesting or real… I guess I don't really care. And the reason I don't care is because it has been so enormously successful, and the connections it has made with audiences have been very meaningful.”
The Sex and the City reboot ended with Carrie Bradshaw flying solo – a move Parker “absolutely” supports. "It's very easy to stay. It's where we're all happy. But you have to be principled when you make these very difficult, agonizing decisions because there are a lot of people who are affected," she explained.
And looking ahead, Parker imagined Carrie’s next chapter with hope: "I think it would be pretty rich, in terms of friendships and culture and travel and the ways in which the children of her friends are in her life. I feel good about her. I think she's set up pretty well."
Biden Beams With Daughter Ashley as Trump Jabs at His ‘Diapers’
Joe Biden soaked up some quality father-daughter time this weekend, stepping out with Ashley Biden – who recently split from her longtime partner.
The pair were spotted strolling a wooded path and posing on a boardwalk overlooking Delaware Bay, with Ashley calling the outing “chicken soup for my soul” on IG. She kept it casual in a gray “East Coast” sweatshirt, baseball cap, and denim shorts, while her dad rocked his signature aviators, navy pullover, and sneakers, looking surprisingly upbeat despite ongoing health battles – including his recent cancer diagnosis.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump wasn’t about to let Joe steal the spotlight. After rumors swirled online that he was MIA, Trump hit Truth Social, declaring he “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE” and throwing shade at Biden by claiming he was wearing “diapers and napping.”
The weekend really gave fans a front-row seat to a jaw-dropping contrast: Biden focusing on family and Trump addressing public speculation.
Brooklyn’s Jam Sparks a Chorus of ‘Get a Job!’
Brooklyn Beckham thought he’d win hearts with his homemade strawberry jam on Instagram, but the internet had other plans…
The 26-year-old shared a step-by-step video of prepping strawberries, cooking them, and serving the final product on sourdough, captioning it simply, “Strawberry jam x.” While a few fans praised his effort with comments like “looks great,” many swooped in with shade: “First Meghan [Markle], now you! What's the obsession with strawberry jam? Anyone can make it… 🙄,” and “Get a proper job that pays your lifestyle!”
Supporters defended him against the “bitter” trolls, while some pointed to his ongoing family tensions, including a feud with David and Victoria Beckham. Between the jam comparisons to Meghan and the social media backlash, Brooklyn’s culinary debut quickly turned into a full-on digital circus.
Sherri Skips the Scalpel… and Claps Back Without Concealer
Sherri Shepherd went makeup-free on Instagram after a doctor suggested a facelift: “A doctor told me I needed a facelift … So many around me are doing it and there is no judgment from me.”
But… she’s owning every feature: “The lines around my mouth are deep because of the laughter from my soul… my eyes are droopy because of the weight of tears I have shed. I have two chins because I have had to hold up anxiety, worry & beautiful memories… My lips turn downward but they quickly turn upwards with joy. My nose gets fuller every year because I need to breathe in a lot of peace.”
Despite suggestions for “multiple fillers,” she insisted, “I am loving me just as I am. A warrior ❤️.” She also revealed her one cosmetic tweak – a breast reduction – explaining, “I did not get this b--- job because of all the comments… I feel better… now, as I get older, I can sit up straight. I feel lighter.”
Wrinkles, wisdom, and all – she’s staying au naturel.
