Spencer Pratt is spilling old tea – and it’s strong.
In his new memoir The Guy You Loved to Hate: Confessions from a Reality TV Villain, the former Hills star admits he once sold private teenage photos of Mary-Kate Olsen for a cool $50,000.
The stunt dates back to the early 2000s, when Pratt says he was broke, ambitious, and hanging around Olsen and her then-boyfriend Max Winkler. Spotting what he called a bedroom “photo shrine,” Pratt claims he asked to take the pictures “for his healing process.” “He didn’t say no, so I took that to be a yes.”
Less than a week later, the photos landed on a tabloid cover. “Evidence of my entrepreneurial genius,” Pratt wrote, later calling the fallout a “win-win.”
