Prince William and Princess Catherine highlighted frontline healthcare with a visit to London’s Charing Cross Hospital, while King Felipe VI led a packed slate of engagements – from welcoming ambassadors and foreign leaders to cultural, economic and recovery-focused visits across Spain and France.

Elsewhere, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima marked the new year with a round of formal receptions at Amsterdam’s Royal Palace, keeping the royal calendar in full swing.
