President Donald Trump joked that he could move to Israel and become prime minister if Americans ever get “tired” of him.
Speaking on an interview, the 80-year-old claimed, “I’m at 99 percent approval rating in Israel, can you believe it?” before adding, “If people got tired of me in the US, I’ll move to Israel and become Prime Minister.”
No poll backs the 99 percent figure, though a June Pew survey found 81 percent of Israelis viewed him favorably.
