The 45-year-old star shared a makeup-free selfie in a red flannel, celebrating eight years sober. “8 years ago today I made the choice to confront, to confess and to let go of the self sabotaging parts of my life,” she wrote. “Alcohol silenced my intuition, blocked my dreams and chased my circulating fears of complacency. Today I am clear.”
Jessica said she’s “driven by faith” and proud she “chose faith over fear,” adding: “It was not in the fight that I found my strength, it was in the surrender.”
Friends Gretchen Christine Rossi and Jamie Lynn Sigler called her words “beautiful,” while fans shared their own sobriety milestones.
Eight years later, Jessica’s message is simple… faith over fear, and clarity over chaos.

In a CBS Sunday Morning sit-down yesterday, the 64-year-old actor admitted he now thinks it was a “mistake” for Kamala Harris to replace Joe Biden on the 2024 ballot.
“I wanted there to be, as I wrote in the op-ed, a primary. Let’s battle-test this quickly and get it up and going,” he explained. “I think the mistake with it being Kamala is she had to run against her own record… It’s very hard to do if the point of running is to say, ‘I’m not that person.’ It’s hard to do… I think it was a mistake, quite honestly.”
Clooney previously insisted, “That’s the deal, you have to take your stand if you believe in it… I’m OK with criticism for where I stand. I defend their right to criticize me as much as I defend my right to criticize them.”
