Hannah Waddingham at the Ted Lasso Season 4 premiere in NYC
MARIA MOLINO: She’s got great legs, so the mini works for her. HOWEVER, what’s this? Those huge flowers are not doing it for me. The top one looks like it’s rolling over where if comes off the neckline. It doesn’t look premiere worthy.
REBECCA FRIEDMAN: This is exactly the kind of statement piece a premiere calls for. The floral embroidery looks hand-done, not printed, and keeping the dress otherwise simple – strapless, minimal, short – lets the artwork actually read instead of competing with itself. Legs for days doesn't hurt either.
