Nude Trump Statue 'The Orange Plague' Turns Heads
A giant golden Trump is making a very NSFW statement in Europe. 🍊
The 8.5-foot-tall nude sculpture, dubbed “The Orange Plague” and “The King of Injustice,” has been unveiled inside the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Created by Danish artist Jens Galschiøt, the gold-leaf-coated Trump is shown riding on the shoulders of a struggling man while gripping a golf club, with a globe serving as the ball.
The artwork takes aim at global power imbalances and Trump’s role in the climate debate, with the artist saying it’s meant to spark a conversation about “power and powerlessness.”
And the artist has a message for Trump: “Get off our backs.”
The statue remains on display through October 8 before heading to Turkey in November for the UN COP31 climate conference.
