We’ve got another special uncut, unfiltered Q&A for our Close Friends this week:

Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez sat down with OK! Senior Editor REBECCA FRIEDMAN for a wide-ranging conversation that reflects on the once-in-a-lifetime intensity of the 2016 Games, the behind-the-scenes moments that helped her push through the pressure, and the teammates who grounded her when it mattered most.

From mental health/self-care to fueling on the go and highlighting parents’ “invisible workouts,” Hernandez opens up about growth, gratitude, and what’s next as she looks toward her future beyond gymnastics. Let’s dive in.
