REBECCA: I watch a lot of reality TV, and your show feels refreshing. You’re really good at steering away from the drama while still delivering entertaining TV, and people seem to respect you for that. Is keeping the drama off-screen something you prioritize while producing an engaging reality show for Netflix?

RYAN: I mean, it’s full of so many salespeople who build a career for no salary – you eat what you kill. The only people attracted to that type of business are crazy people. So you’ve got the buyers and sellers of multimillion-dollar homes. It’s a melting pot for entertainment. I’d say it’s more entertaining to watch the drama unfold on the show than it is to live through it. Because it’s all real – it’s my life. You know what most people say when they watch this? “How is this how you act every day?”
