Kelsey Grammer has become the surprise bad guy in a sleepy corner of Somerset, England.
Locals accuse the Frasier star of abandoning a historic seaside cottage and letting it fall into ruin – flipping former admiration into what insiders now call being “absolutely detested” by the community.
The dispute centers on a 200-year-old property on the outskirts of Portishead that Grammer bought four years ago for about $1.4 million.
The actor, best known for playing Dr Frasier Crane, purchased the hilltop cottage with his wife, Kayte Grammer, 47, who grew up in the area.
