King Charles is facing fresh heat over some very cushy housing arrangements for his wealthy relatives, who have been enjoying luxurious palace homes at discounted rates. And guess who’s footing the bill? The King himself.
A new parliamentary report has raised eyebrows over rental deals benefiting Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent — none of whom are working royals.
Beatrice’s four-bedroom apartment at St James’s Palace could reportedly fetch up to $27,000 a month on the open market. Meanwhile, Eugenie’s Kensington Palace cottage could command as much as $15,000.
Not exactly struggling to make rent, are they?
