EXCLUSIVE: How Britney Spears is 'In PR Overdrive' Ahead of Court Appearance Over Her DUI Arrest
Insiders say sobriety buzz is being pushed as she fears rehab or another conservatorship.
Britney Spears is said to be in “PR overdrive” ahead of her upcoming court appearance following her DUI arrest.
Insiders claim stories about her sobriety are being strategically circulated to reshape her image before the hearing.
The 44-year-old pop star was arrested earlier this month in Ventura County, California, on suspicion of driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs after what police described as erratic driving.
According to reports, a 911 caller claimed Spears was “all over the road,” prompting officers to pursue her vehicle for around an hour before she stopped and was taken into custody.
Police sources said she appeared “disoriented” at the scene before being booked and later released.
Spears is now due to appear in court on May 4, with the case drawing renewed attention to her personal life following years of public scrutiny and her release from a conservatorship in 2021.
