President Donald Trump is catching heat for dropping the word “piggy” again – but longtime Trump-watchers know it’s hardly a new insult in his arsenal.
Former Miss Universe Alicia Machado claimed Trump, 79, once called her “Miss Piggy” and an “eating machine” after she gained weight in 1996. She said he sent her to a New York gym where “80 reporters” were waiting to watch her sweat, calling it “in very bad taste.” Trump defended himself, saying, “People don’t think you’re going to go from 118 to 160 in less than year.”
Now he’s under fire again for telling Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey, “Quiet, piggy,” aboard Air Force One. The moment went viral, prompting even his niece Mary Trump to slam the remark as “despicable” and brand him a “lifelong hardcore misogynist,” adding:
“The only pig in the scenario is Donald.”
