Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX Tour is facing a major wipeout – thanks to a trademark lawsuit from Breezy Swimwear, a Miami-based brand accusing him of stealing their event name.
“Celebrities do not get to overwrite small-business names just because they are famous,” the brand’s lawyer said. Breezy Swimwear claims they’ve used the name since 2018 and launched their own “Breezy Bowl” in 2023 to celebrate body positivity and female empowerment. CEO Kris Izquierdo says the confusion is real, revealing fans have messaged them asking, “Is Chris Brown gonna be there?” He added, “It’s humbling and at the same time confusing.”
Now, they’re demanding Chris and Live Nation stop using the name and destroy any “Breezy” merch… no word yet from Team Chris, but this tour might have just hit a trademark tsunami.
