Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming, opened up about life caring for her husband amid his frontotemporal dementia – and why she moved him to a separate home with full-time care.
Yesterday, the 47-year-old model said she "knew" her reveal would spark backlash but insisted, "It was a hard decision for us, but was the safest and best decision – not just for Bruce, but also for our two young girls."
Emma added, "I feel like caregivers are so judged… If you've seen one case of dementia, it's one case of dementia. So you have to do what is right for your family."
She further hopes her new book, The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope, and Yourself on the Caregiving Path, gives caregivers "permission to be able to care for themselves."

Selena Gomez just got real about the “hurtful” comments she’s faced over the years about her body while planning her wedding to Benny Blanco.
“I got stung by a person saying I was fat. Why is that [emotion] coming up?” she said, revealing how dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) helped her unpack tough feelings. “I've dealt with a lot of weight issues in my life, and that's something I'm very sensitive to,” she added.
The singer-actress praised Benny, 37, for keeping her grounded: “I appreciate his heart, his kindness, his quirks… He makes me feel very normal.” Selena also joked about their late-blooming romance: “I don’t think I would have been remotely mature enough” when they first met at 16.
